Bluebonnet, Texas's state flower
Today's topic: Texas Bluebonnet, the Texas state flower.
Intro
The Texas Bluebonnet is the most important flower in Texas. It's also the state flower. You can only find Texas bluebonnets in Texas. They've been around since 1901.
Growth
The Texas bluebonnet grows just like a normal plant. But something you may not know is that they are actually poisonous if ingested! The Texas Bluebonnet starts out as a seed, grows into a sapling, and then a flower eventually.
Care
The Texas bluebonnet is illegal to pick because it is the state flower and as I said it is a poisonous plus if you pick it you are harming not only the state flower you are also harming a Texas monument.
