Today's topic: Stars, the Wonders Found all Around us

What is a star?

A star is an object that is found only in space. You may know about a lot of stars but, the most common star is the sun. That's right, our own sun that gives us light and heat is a star! Stars are held together by tremendous amounts of gravity.

Life cycle

A star's life cycle goes like this. A star starts as a cloud of dust. Then gravity kicks in and holds the cloud together, creating clumps. Then the stars start to create heat and become a protostar. When enough heat and pressure happen, nuclear fusion happens. Then when enough fusion happens, the stars are created. Then the star lives its life and then it will either explode and become a black hole. Or it could even lead to the formation of new stars!

Types of stars

There are many types of stars, like blue stars, red stars, and yellow stars. Stars come in any color you want even pink! They are great and make up a lot of our universe.
