What is it?

Barcelona is a city located in Spain. It lies on the coast of the Northeast side of Spain. Spain is a country in southwestern Europe. Barcelona is the capital of Spain's Catalonia region. Barcelona is also home to FCB, a world-known soccer club. From the beaches to the culture, Barcelona is a place you want to visit once in your lifetime. 

Geography

To get more specific, Barcelona is located on the northeast coast of a peninsula ( a piece of land almost surrounded by water or projecting out into a body of water). Said peninsula is the Iberian Peninsula, which faces the Meditteranean Sea. There are a few mountain ranges, and many beaches, due to the extended coastline. 

Climate

Temperatures stay warm/hot for the most part in Barcelona. They range from about 60-80 degrees Fahrenheit on an average day. Even winters are mild. Days usually have a low of about 50 degrees Fahrenheit. Rainy days are not so common. So, for the most part, it's a hot place to be. 

Culture

Earlier, the thriving culture in Barcelona was mentioned. This includes food, art, festivals, and much more. The culture is amazing to observe. Learning about it can be so fascinating!
