Today's Topic: Constellations
What Is a Constellation?
A constellation is a group of stars that appear to be very close together. But in space, they are actually incredibly far apart. To the human eye, they seem to form images, shapes, and pictures.
How Are They Formed?
Constellations are simply formed by stars. Stars exist in different places because that's just what ends up happening. But humans have been "connecting the dots" and making shapes out of the stars. To us, the stars look really close together, but in reality, they are actually really spread out.
